Bob Snape has over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, recapitalizations, corporate divestitures, valuations and fairness opinions. Throughout Bob’s career he has been primarily focused on clients within Consumer and Retail, including those in the Food and Beverage, Restaurant, Apparel, Personal Care, Branded Consumer and Household sub-sectors.
Prior to joining Scott-Macon in 2009, Bob was a Managing Director and Senior Investment Banker within the Global Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Banc of America Securities LLC. While at Banc of America Securities, Bob was principally responsible for developing and executing mergers and acquisitions and other corporate advisory assignments for middle market clients within the Consumer and Retail segment. Bob joined Banc of America Securities from Fleet Securities, Inc. where he was a founding officer and Managing Director of Fleet M & A Advisors. While at Fleet, Bob was a Managing Director and senior member of the Fairness Opinion Review Committee and assisted clients with mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. He was previously a Director of Corporate Finance at KPMG LLP, where he was responsible for executing mergers and acquisitions and private placement transactions for KPMG's international client base. Bob began his investment banking career at the Vista Group and had prior experience at Chase Manhattan Bank in portfolio management.
Bob received a B.A. and a M.B.A. from Boston University.
